- Born in 1957, Tehran
- MFA (1991), and BFA (1989, with high distinction), California College of the Arts, USA
- Solo and group exhibitions in Iran and USA
- Initiated Etminani Classes, and invented a comprehensive shortcut in studio art education
- Lectured at various art universities, festivals and institutions in Iran
- Lectured at Stanford University, University of California in Berkeley, and University of California in Irvine in the United States, and the University of York in Canada
- Taught at various art universities in Iran, and official/private art institutions in USA
- Interviewed by various newspapers, art magazines and national TV in Iran
- Critiqued by Iranian newspapers and art magazines, and the Canadian Art Magazine
- Designed and performed specialized one-day art workshops in Iran and USA
- Jury member at art biennials and festivals in Iran
- Member of the Alumni Association, California College of the Arts
- Vice Chair, and Director of Exhibition Committee, the Association of Iranian Painters
