Introduction
I am an Iranian American artist and master teacher born March 3, 1957 in Tehran where I have been living and working since my return from the USA in 1992. I chose my birth-land for its paradoxical and transitional circumstances under which I could radically explore and expand my artistic visions that were crystallized in my 970-word MFA thesis at the California College of the Arts, titled Modernism and Tradition in Iran (1991). I also chose my birth-land for being one of the main origins of human culture and civilization. My intention is to take part in people’s inner-growth through art and education.
